Shamrock Breeze RID

Breezy is a rangy athletic example of an Irish Draught--we are delighted to have her in the barn.  She is by Macha Breeze RID (Grey Macha) out of Amber Maid, a Ginger Dick mare imported from Ireland.  This striking girl traces back to Laughton and Gortlee on both sides of her pedigree.

Breezy is in foal to Thoroughbred hunter stallion, Harvest Moon.  She is being offered for sale at $7500US.  .

Prescott's Flagmount Dancer RID

In April 2016, we welcomed Dancer to Connemora.  She is by Flagmount King out of Ardvarnock Gem, damsire Bobbin.  While we will eventually breed this redhead, right now she's enjoying hunter paces and is practising some gymnastics for the jumper ring.

Dancer Prancer is now enjoying life in North Carolina.

Cliodhna's Clover RID

We are delighted to welcome Clio to Connemora!  This beautiful daughter of Clover Hill is on lease from Paul Ferenchak's Bull Hill Farm.  She produced a wonderful filly by Corrcullen in 2016 and an exceptional 2017 filly by Jaunty Star, Class 1 with Silver Merit, Eventing.   We plan on retaining both fillies.

Shamrock's Irish Mist (Class 1 ID, Bronze Merit)

Misty was presented at the October 2016 Irish Draught Horse Society of Canada's inspection where she was awarded Class 1 with bronze merit for her athleticism.   The inspectors praised her as a "modern Irish Draught mare, very athletic in her jump."  Misty is one of only two purebred daughters by Grand Prix showjumper, Cradilo RID.  Her dam, Shamrock Breeze is by Gray Macha son, Macha Breeze out of Amber Maid, a Ginger Dick mare.

We are thrilled to announce that Misty has been purchased as a jumper prospect by Cradilo's owner, Grace Shaw-Kennedy.

Tully Mac's Heartbreaker (Class 1 ID)

We are very proud to announce that our lovely mare achieved Class 1 status at her inspection in 2016!  Mora is by the hugely talented Snowford Bellman out of Winmaur Bright Millenia (Banks Fee Daniel).

Shuttlewood Rose RID

Grania was imported from Ireland at her dam's side by Fox Hollow Sport Horses.  Sired by the legendary Silver Granite, she is a wonderfully typey mare and has produced four stunning youngsters.

Grania is thoroughly enjoying her time under saddle and has been out hunting with the Beaver Meadows Fox Hounds.  At her very first show, she came away reserve champion in the baby jumper division pulling only a single rail.  Amazingly composed, she has made a wonderful transition from broodmare to fox hunter.

The Mares of Connemora

Mora has had a wonderful season of hunter pacing, hacking and hunting.   We're hoping to do a dressage test or two in the spring.
